| Nearest airport is at Pantnagar (Dist. Udam Singh Nagar), 71km. At the time of writing flights are not operational. Connected by broadgauge with Delhi & Kolkatta, Kathgodam is the nearest railhead 35km away. From Lalkaun(60km), trains are available for Agra & Lucknow. Reservation can be made at Nainital from Reservation Office, Tallital. A special Shatabdi Express operates from Delhi to Kathgodam every Friday & Sunday in summer from April to July. Nainital is connected by good roads to all the major National & State Highways. There is a regular half an hour service to Kathgodam. The deluxe & ordinary services connect Delhi at regular intervals. |
